The
Hunting...
Elysian Fields’
private hunting preserve was founded in 2003 with the objective
to become the best preserve in the nation through artificial
insemination and selective breeding. We only offer whitetail
deer hunts. Elysian Fields is the destination of mythological
Greek heroes and is similar to Biblical heaven. Deer hunters
will believe they are in heaven when hunting the elusive
whitetail at Elysian Fields. This preserve was founded by a
frustrated sportsman who wanted to harvest monster whitetails.
Sportsman will
find this preserve unique because it has an agricultural setting
combined with swamps, woods and brush cover. The harvesting of
corn and soybeans may be taking place during the hunts as well
as the planting of wheat. The hunting season starts September 1st
and ends February 28th for a total of six months. No
hunting license is required.
Our hunts are
tailored to meet the hunters’ needs. You only pay a trophy fee
if you harvest a trophy whitetail. If you do not harvest a buck
during your hunt, you only pay the daily hunting fee of $200.00
per day.

Elysian Fields has
premium hunting blinds manufactured by Ranch King. These
elevated heated weatherproof blinds are eight-sided with a 360
degree view, reclining office chairs, and carpet. Our blinds
comfortably accommodate between 2-4 individuals depending on the
size of the blind.
All hunts are
guided by experienced hunters. The guide will assist the hunter
in picking the appropriate size trophy whitetail. The guide will
help the hunter field dress the deer if help is requested. If
desired. the guide will cape the deer to enable the hunter to
mount his trophy.
A wounded
whitetail is a harvested whitetail. The hunter pays for a
wounded whitetail whether it is found or not. In most cases the
wound deer will be found. If the trophy deer is not found before
the hunt ends, every attempt will be made to forward the antlers
to the hunter when and if they are located. If the wounded deer
is later found alive, the trophy fee will refunded, or the
hunter may schedule another hunt.
